From Discovery to Innovation
In 2001, Gift Bliss Enterprises introduced a version of instant snow at the Los Angeles Gift Show. Shortly after, we expanded our reach by showcasing the product at the San Francisco and Seattle Gift Shows. Our inspiration came from learning about the use of polymer snow in indoor snowboard and ski parks—an innovative concept that sparked the idea of sharing this realistic artificial snow with a broader audience.
At the time, we weren’t certain where the market for this type of snow would flourish. But we knew there was potential. We envisioned uses in retail holiday displays, event venues, science experiments, hobbies, magic tricks, snow-related gift bundles, and floral arrangements. As interest grew among retailers and the public alike, a thriving market began to emerge for personal holiday decorating, novelty gifts, and creative displays.
Evolving for Realism and Market Appeal
Although the first instant snow we launched was visually appealing, we knew we could do more. We set out to improve snow realism, pricing, and overall visual impact to serve a broader audience.
By 2003, our efforts led to the discovery of a superior polymer snow powder—one that resonated with the toy, hobby, and educational markets. After working closely with the manufacturer, we became the official provider of this new and improved snow powder. Shortly thereafter, we launched our new brand and registered trademark: SNOW TO GO!®
During the pandemic, we realized it would benefit our customers if we manufactured our Instant Snow Kits in the United States. Production of all our products in the USA was completed in 2022.
